Legal provisions

Do you use a subcontractor ?

You are required to check the compliance of your subcontractor with your legal and regulatory obligations.

Firstly, for the provisions relating to the transport of goods and freight forwarding.

And secondly, for the most recent provisions (2011) relating to the duty of care of orderers with regard to their sub-contractors.

To this effect, you are obliged to collect and check the legal documents of your subcontractors when the contract is signed and on a regular basis throughout the contract.

In the event of a breach of your obligations, you risk criminal and financial prosecution you may be sentenced jointly and severally to pay the social security contributions of your subcontractor, if the latter has used undeclared work.

Our customer service assists subcontractors in English, German, Italian, Spanish, Portuguese in order to facilitate the provision and update of their document file (more than 2 000 service providers tracked in Europe and abroad).
